Where is your best place to retire?

We would like to know where you think your best place to retire is. Perhaps you are already living there or are still looking. Tell us about it. What is your criteria? What experiences have you had and what advice can you give us? Have you found someplace to escape the cold winter? We sure would like to know about that also.
